Within a few hours of giving birth to these two fawns. Will and I spotted them from afar and found a good spot to take some shots with the 300mm.

Boy, let me tell you somethin...
This guy was a character. Asked me to take a picture of him while I was walking down Skid Row. He had some advice for me; something along the lines of stay in school and don't buy crack from Joe.

Skimboard silhouette
This is actually a color photo, but the reflection off the water had a high contrast and made it look black and white.

Discovering long exposure
My first experience with nighttime long exposure shots.
I was taking pictures for my friends album cover.
Ghosts! We would wait until the flash went off, then duck so that the lights in the background would be picked up during the long exposure.

Go-kart intimidation
Doug Bauer is a kind man but when it comes to the go-kart track, he makes children cry. I still have nightmares of eating his dust (even on my birthday).

A souvenir that actually lasts
Kids are just easy to take pictures of. They have such great facial expressions and everyone likes to see pictures of kids. The little boy was the brother of a pre-teen girl trying to sell us souvenirs. I bought something from them to trade for a picture.
